Subaru Crosstrek’s Starlink System

If you’re considering a Subaru Crosstrek, you probably already know about its ability to haul more gear than most other subcompact SUVs – even more than some compact SUVs, for that matter. You probably know it can confidently tow up to 1,500 pounds when properly equipped -- another achievement that most other competitors in its class can’t claim. Maybe you know the differences between the three trim levels in the model range are mostly related to the interior features, and maybe you’ve been told that the Crosstrek delivers above-average fuel efficiency in its class.

You may not know the details about the Subaru Crosstrek’s connected car technologies. Subaru’s Starlink infotainment interface lets you access your favorite apps on the Crosstrek’s 6.5-inch or upgraded 8-inch display screen, with icons and a layout that are similar to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which both come standard. Depending on the Crosstrek model you select from the lineup, one or two USB ports are present to connect your smartphone, and you can enjoy listening to your favorite music or podcast on the standard four-speaker sound system, or you can upgrade to a six-speaker system, or a premium Harmon Kardon audio system.

The Crosstrek’s Starlink infotainment interface is user-friendly, with easy-to-use menus and buttons that are within easy reach for driver and front-seat passenger. The icons are large and easy to see, and the functions can be organized on pages in the order the users prefer.

Using the infotainment features in the Subaru Crosstrek is the best way to find out if it offers the features you’ll use to support your day-to-day lifestyle. At CMA’s Colonial Subaru, our staff will be pleased to show you how the system works, and all of the different options available.
